Norfolkline carry Dinosaurs!
October 9th 2006
During summer 2006, the museum "Experimentarium" in Copenhagen, Denmark approached A. P. Moller-Maersk and Top Management at Norfolkline regarding a "special" transport from Newcastle, UK to Copenhagen, Denmark.
The transport involved 4 trailers to be loaded with "Dinosaurs".... Or at least models of them!
The exhibition in Copenhagen was to open 28/9-2006 and the Dinosaurs were arranged to be picked-up 15/9-2006, and the preparation was to last 10 days. It was a very tight schedule from the museum and therefore it was of great importance the transport went out smoothly, and so it did!
The new Norfolkline trailers were handled on time and delivered in Denmark by award-winning haulier contracted by Norfolkline Denmark.
As an preliminary exhibition the dinosaurs were shown in center of Copenhagen at Raadhuspladsen throughout 18/9-2006.
The transport itself received substantial publicity in Denmark with television crews being present both at the unloading in Esbjerg (from Immingham), and at the scene's in Copenhagen.
