Norfolkline's IT department is based at the corporate head office in Scheveningen, The Netherlands, and the department is responsible for ensuring Norfolkline can cope with its constantly changing and expanding business.
As part of its growth strategy Norfolkline has initiated two major programs:
- A three year program to replace its current in-house developed systems by standard packages
- A program to optimize our service and infrastructure environment
To support these major transformations we are looking for Coordinators, Managers and Consultants, with experience in managing suppliers and system implementations in Financial, CRM and HR domains.
Our current vacancies include:
IT consultant
A professional with excellent analysis and communication skills.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- The role involves process modeling, requirements specification, identifying and evaluating solutions, system implementation, acceptance testing, and training.
- These activities are carried out both as project team member and independently as part of life-cycle management of applications.
- The IT Consultant reports to the IT Manager of Norfolkline.
Profile of the suitable candidate:
- College/University degree.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in an international organization.
- Proven track record as analyst or consultant in Finance, CRM or HR projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Project manager
A strong individual with excellent planning and coordination skills.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Achieving the project goals within agreed time, budget and quality.
- The responsibilities extend to both the IT activities as well as change management within the business.
- The project manager reports to the project board and to the IT Manager of Norfolkline.
Profile of the suitable candidate:
- College/University degree.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
- Prince2 certification.
- Pro-active, comfortable in dealing with all levels within the company.
- Proven track record in multi-site roll outs in an international organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Service coordinator
A networker with excellent coordination and communication skills.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- The execution of operational Service Management activities and supporting the Service Manager which includes administration and dealing with internal and external contacts.
- The Service Coordinator is the operational contact for all users and IT suppliers and reports to the Service Manager of Norfolkline.
Profile of the suitable candidate:
- Experience in working in an international service organization.
- A customer focused attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of ITIL is a prerequisite
