Car under 1.85 m high and 4.5 m long

This vehicle type includes all standard car types including saloon cars, estate cars, and 4x4's with or without a roof-box or a roof rack where the total height is under 1.85 metres and total length is less than 4.5 metres. A maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Car under 2.35 m high and 7m long

This vehicle type includes all standard car types including saloon cars, estate cars, and 4x4's with or without a roof-box or a roof rack where the total height is under 2.35metres and total length is less than 7 metres. A maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Car with caravan or trailer

Car towing a caravan or trailer where the caravan/trailer is under 4.35 metres high and less than 8 metres long; with a maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Motorhome under 2.35m high and 7m long

This vehicle type includes all motorhomes/campervans (with windows, sleeping and cooking facilities) where the total height is under 2.35 metres and total length is less than 7metres. A maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Motorhome under 4.35m high and 10m long

This vehicle type includes all motorhomes/campervans (with windows, sleeping and cooking facilities) where the total height is under 4.35 metres and total length is less than 10 metres. Maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Van under 2.4m high

A van is defined as a motor vehicle with panelled sides and is designed for commercial purposes, irrespective of commercial or private use; with a maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.
Note: If the van is being used to transport goods for commercial gain then it will be classified as 'freight' traffic at check-in and the appropriate freight fare applied at that time. In addition to this, a van is classified as ‘freight’ traffic if there are no windows at the back of the vehicle. Van over 2.4m high

Motorcycle

Fare includes 2 passengers; with a maximum of 2 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Motorcycle with sidecar or trailer

Motorcycle with a trailer or sidecar. Fare includes 2 passengers; with a maximum of 4 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.

Bicycle (one only)

Push bike with a maximum of one passenger.

Minibus

A minibus with less than 15 passengers including the driver (with less than 15 seats including the driver) and under 8 meters in length and 4.35 meters in height. If your minibus does not meet these criteria, please call (+44) 01304874003 or email: dover.coaches@dfds.com to make a reservation.

Motorhome with caravan or trailer

Motorhome/campervan (with windows, sleeping and cooking facilities) towing a caravan or trailer where the caravan/trailer is under 4.35 metres high and less than 8 metres long; with a maximum of 9 passengers allowed to travel with this vehicle type.
