First class lounge
Upgrading to First Class travel gives you exclusive access to our lounges, perfect for relaxing during your journey across the Channel.
First Class Travel:
Get the best onboard service with a First Class upgrade. Norfolkline offer passengers an option to upgrade to First Class travel where you'll enjoy the best onboard facilities. You can opt for First Class travel when you book, or alternatively upgrade to First Class when you arrive onboard.
If you'd like to relax as you sail on our ferry then First Class travel is for you. For a small additional charge you'll have access to the First Class Lounge where you can enjoy:
- Hot drinks: Tea, coffee and hot chocolate
- Cold drinks: Juice and water
- Daily newspapers
- Priority loading and disembarkation
Passengers are also able to choose from a selection of food and beverages from the La Veranda menu while relaxing in the comfort of the lounge seating area.
First Class Lounge Opening Times
The First Class Lounge is open between 8:00 in the morning and 6.00 in the evening. Priority boarding and disembarkation is also restricted to these times.
Upgrade and Save
Save up to 20% by upgrading to First Class. Just tell us you want to upgrade to First Class while booking online or via our contact centre.
Already made a booking? You can still upgrade.
Don't worry if you've already made a booking because, with DFDS Seaways, it is easy to upgrade to First Class after your booking has been made. You can either contact our call centre on 0871 574 7223 or visit our customer service desk. Upgrading onboard the ship costs £15, depending on availability.
Please note, if you change your departure time to another sailing on the same day of travel without making your amendment in advance, you may not be able to transfer your First Class Lounge access and priority boarding with your reservation.
Terms & Conditions:
Priority loading and disembarkation is available for cars only and will only be available on sailings between 8am – 6pm.
During the above time vehicles must be checked in and waiting to board 1 hour prior to departure.
Vehicles that arrive first will be given first priority to board
If you require the use of the lift you'll be offered a choice of parking where you'll receive priority disembarkation or a parking space near a lift.
Children under the age of 8 years old are not allowed in the First Class Lounge.
